The simulation equipment available at Gonzo includes eight HD Golf simulators, two Visual Sports simulators and a SkyTechSport Ski and Snowboard Simulator. The high definition simulators allow visitors to play and practice a wide range of sports, including golf, skiing, snowboarding, rugby, baseball, football, hockey, soccer and basketball. The HD technology creates a fully immersive experience, replicating accurate terrain data for some of the world's best golf courses and creating 3D models using advanced image processing and Geophysical Information Systems (GIS) data.
Designed and manufactured by Interactive Sports Technologies, HD Golf simulators offer an authentic golfing experience using technology that can measure exact launch angles, true ball velocity and ball spin to deliver accurate trajectory analysis, flight and distance measurements.
The 3D models of world-famous golf courses are remarkably accurate, with every tree and bunker reproduced on the screen. The simulators can be used for games and competitions, tournament play, and for practice, as they offer an extensive selection of practice facilities, including driving ranges and putting greens.
Visual Sports simulators available at Gonzo can be used to practice different sports, including golf, hockey, soccer, baseball and football, or to play games like Zombie Dodgeball or Carnival Games, which challenge players to pop balloons, break plates, knock down milk bottles or take on hordes of the undead. The technology is equally fun to use for practice, as it helps improve users' performance, as it is for a fun night out with friends. The simulators also offer hundreds of possibilities for contests and competitions for parties and special events, as well as a wide range of in-game customization options.
The Ski and Snowboard Simulator, the most recent addition at Gonzo, reproduces the sensation of going down a real slope using technology that simulates real physical forces and G-force effects. Developed by SkyTechSport, the simulator is used by athletes worldwide to train for major sporting events and by beginners looking to learn proper technique before venturing out on a real mountain. The simulator allows users to choose from a number of popular ski resorts, select specific weather conditions, and experience real courses. It is also a great tool for staying fit because, like skiing, it engages both large muscle groups and small stabilizer muscles and can be used both for strength and cardio training. Unlike standard gym equipment, the Ski and Snowboard Simulator does not train separate muscles, but enables natural motion, and it provides users with feedback and an engaging virtual environment to keep both their muscles and senses busy throughout the workout.
