The Fourier M2 is an upper limb rehabilitation robot that offers four training modes for all stages of neurological rehabilitation in order to facilitate therapy and make it more effective.

The Fourier M2, an exoskeleton robot designed for the rehabilitation of the upper limbs, is a sophisticated device that combines the latest scientific insights with state-of-the-art technology to deliver an advanced tool for recovery and professional assessment. Designed to enhance neuroplasticity for upper limb function, the platform is used in the rehabilitation of patients with central or peripheral nervous system disorders, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries, as well as musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary disorders. It facilitates the execution and management of the rehabilitation process, engages patients in their recovery, and makes therapy more effective.

The rehabilitation robot immerses patients in engaging, game-like exercises, using reward-based interactive games to motivate them to keep repeating the therapeutic, task-oriented movements in order to progress through different stages of recovery. The platform uses haptic technology to detect the patient's movements and offers assistive force to help them complete tasks. The games available with the Fourier M2 are based on real-time trajectory feedback. The platform also provides therapists with an objective evaluation of the therapeutic exercises, as well as user-friendly reports on the patient's progress. The reports, which are generated and stored automatically after each therapy session, include data on range of motion, muscle strength and moving trajectory.

The Fourier M2 can be used in every stage of neurological rehabilitation, from flaccidity to the return of normal function. It offers four training modes – passive movement, assistive movement, active movement and resistive movement – to gradually guide patients to recovery. The platform is available with a range of accessories to enhance the rehabilitation experience and make it more fun for patients. These include a VR headset, wearable devices and replaceable handles.
